i ordered my magnaflow cat back bolt on exhaust today i am so excited to see what it will sound liek however i have one question. will it be loud enough with the resonator in or should i have it taken out? those with magnaflow exhausts please answer my question. thanks a million

IMO it is almost too quiet. I guess it keeps it from being annoying. I guess it gets loud when accelerating hard, but it is hard to hear over my cai. I thought about removing the resonator also. I am just not sure who could fabricate me a pipe with mandrel bends in my area. Also, I am not sure how much it hurts performance.

It is not loud but it is nice and mellow / deep. Without the silencer you might get ricey a little.

hmmmmmmm...My understanding is that the resonator makes it a little quiter AND makes the sound a little smoother...I would think that taking it out would make your car a loud, not to mention obnoxious, POS. >>shrug<<
