Review: X3Racing Seat Brackets

Hi Guys,

So... A while back (a long while back) I bought some X3Racing seat brackets and I finally have a chance to install them. They don't fit. Period. Some of your guys said that they can be bent into place, but that don't work. Period. You can find these POS brackets on eBay for something like $55 shipped. They don't fit my Bride replica's and they don't fit the car. Even when you bend them to fit they don't fit. One of the tabs isn't long enough to reach the bolt hole. You would have to bend the damn thing in so much that the seat would lean to one side and to the rear. Sucks? Yes much.

So... Don't buy these POS seat brackets. I read up on seat brackets on these forums and many reccomendations came up, but no pics!? Does anyone have any pics of their seat brackets? How about the other brand on eBay? The TC5 AutoSports brackets? Anyone have any pics?

thanks,
M

Yep, I do. Took me long enough to reply to this thread, didn't it? hehe... Yep, I still own the Civic. had some body damage a while back, and electrical system went, but now dirving... Had to replace the alternator and the battery. Had to replace a side mirror too, but the dent is still there. Oh well, on to fixing stuff...

if you have an EX, you could modify your stock DRIVERS seat bracket to fit.

I don't see how? Is there a thread on that? I took out my LX seat and there's no way that I can mount my Bride seats to that. The bracket and the sliders are integrated in the stockers.

I have brackets and sliders off my racing seats. They fit to the chassis fine. ONly concern is I'm not sure if the holes from the bracket will match the bottom of your seats. PM if you are intersted.

i think you definately need aftermarket rails for Bride seats...

Take a chance and try rails for EP3... I'm using Vision Technica's Super Low Down Rail for my bucket seat, and it's EP3 version, I got lucky, all 4 holes fit.

We designed our own brackets to work with our sliders.
