ok well i have the INJEN CAI and i'm wondering about that transmison plug deal. whats that all about. my instructions don't say anything about removing it. whats that for. just for AEM install's?
Probably so... because on the AEM install, they want us to remove an engine mount nut to put on AEM's custom made bracket. And for that bracket to fit, you have to remove the OEM bracket. And the only way to remove the OEM bracket, is to remove the reverse light switch, so you can unscrew a bolt.
good luck dude.

ok well i did it all anyways cause i'm impatient and now i came back and read the DIY and i did it right so chaulk one up for me. The UPS guy came at like 8 o'clock. i opened the box, thought about it for a sec. and said ah hell i'm doin it right now. Got me a light set-up outside and i slammed that bitch in. No problems or anything easy to do. Drove it and feel the difference. A lil noisey but o-well. Well worth it
