i have the most messed up bumper of all...well my other one was missing a peice the size of an open magazine...lol..my current one is all scratched up...and dented....i have a black fender and primer all over the driver side of the car...but i have mad suspension work done...full coilovers, tanabe underbody cross brace, tanabe type r 22mm rear sway bar, dc sports lower tie bar, front and rear upper strut bar
01-03 front end looks like *** compared to the 04-05.
The hood w/the little lip and a insert w/grill surrond, instead of the newer bumper/grille surround in one.
The lower bumper on the newer looks more aggressive.
No extruded license plate area on the newer.
01-03 was good but they had time to refien the design for 04-05, and it shows.

all the more reason to get a lip someday to cover it up, I'll prolly get the HFP lippa like RHCP's, I just wish they had sides for the sedan
Are you saying that you like the 01-03 front better than the 04-05?
I agree a lip does make it look better, but the whole flat area for the license plate just kills the bumper to me, but I live in a state that does not require a front plate.
The lower air dam looks ok, but the newer version with the fog lights seperately seems to flow better with the body line of the lower bumper.
The little hood lip thing is amusing to me, I guess if one was going chrome and did the lip in chrome and grille surround in chrome it would make sense, but it's just a unneccessary break in the smoothness of the hood otherwise.

I was just wondering about this myself. I really really really love the ..i guess it would be the 03-05 fronts. I have a 01 Sedan and like how the 03-05z have a more tight aggressive look to them. Less fat for lack of a better word i guess.
If you look at Pitch_Black 05 Sedan and edicivic2k1 sedan 01 Sedan
Is there anyway to get pitch's front on the 01?

I'd say go for it but I wouldn't be too sure. Open your own thread to call to the attention of others...
Woldn't hurt and it might even be very helpful.
Don't know if there's something else different.
Welcome, btw.

ok this front end will look ok .but if you want to have a aggressive front end i would do a 06 si front end. it will cost you hella bank but would be well worth it. i was thinking about it and putting a widebody in the rear. i think that would look so bad ***. i just would not have the down time for it.

Won't fit. Different chassis.
I mean, you could make it fit... but it'd be LOTS of trouble.
