I don’t think there is a 100% definite answer. However the most common term (I have heard) for the Honda RS acronym is Road Sailing.

as stupid as it is, it means road sailing.
the rs logo however came from 99-00 civic ferio which was a 4dr automatic civic that apprerently shifted very smoothly.

yeah, just covering my bases to see where I got the faster response. Thanks for the help, I've reconsidered getting that logo now seeing as adding anything having to do with luxury is not on my to-do list for my car, it is good to know though
