Plasma BOOSTER
Plasma BOOSTER
Has anyone ever bought this item? This seems to be the only ignition upgrade for our cars. If i am wrong please let me know, I am considering buying this and i wanted to know if it actually works or not.
Well considering i just bought an E-Manage from DEZOD i dont think ill be spending $500 anytime soon, i need to save up for a wideband o2 sensor.
I really hope someone has some info on this before i make my decision on it.

Well, I had a plasma booster installed on my 2004 Mustang GT, and it is reccomended by everybody on the mustang forums (stangnet). It actually helps on them, but I don't know about civics.

complete garbage. the 5 or so members that tried them had problems all the time with them breaking. they are cheaply made and terrible. just search and you'll see why. the company sucks too.

if you guys ever saw an actual product, its just a stock coil with some little chip in it. they should cost the price of stock coils + $5.
weird.. i had it for 2 years and never had any problems with it...
the thing that my local shop did was a voltage output test.. right before i got it dyno tuned.. based on my experience i can say that it does output more power from what i have witnessed during the tests and the numbers it was showing on the shops little thingy.. dont know what it was called..
but now its just sitting in my garage cause i cant use it on my k20

I’m truly interested! I’ve wanted to upgrade my direct coil system for a wile!
Only success I heard of was called the "Hyper Voltage" mod gear bought. I believe its some kind of better ground.
