Rep Power: 0 Which Tire do I Buy????
Hey guys,
I'm getting a set of Katana C-7s and I need to get a set of tires. (I'm not getting a package, 'cause I'm buying the rims off a friend). I'm currently looking at 3 tires and I'm listing the info below. If anyone has any experience or knowledge about any of these tires and to which one I should buy, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanx.

Rep Power: 0 Sorry, I forgot to clarify. This is for 17" tires (215/45/17 to be exact). The reason I ask is because I wanted to hear from people's experience with the tire. For example, I havent heard any bad things about the H-rated Bridgestones. However a look at this thread will show that the Nittos might not be the best choice. Thanx again.

Rep Power: 0 I'm sure there aren't too many civics out there that actually need a "Z" rated tire. I think "H" rated tires are good to 130MPH. I would base your decision on how long the tire will last.

Rep Power: 0 Do not buy the nitto's!!! I repeat do not buy the nitto's!! I have had them on my car 205/40/17 for about 20,000 miles and i have hated them from day one. They are EXTREMELY NOISY especially after the 15,000 mile point, they are HORRIBLE IN WET WEATHER, your better off staying home than risking your life driving in the rain with these tires. The traction is ok but not great. Overall i would give these tires a 2 out of 10. I have kumho ecsta supra 712's 205/45/17 sitting in my room waiting for my koni's to get here before i put them on and they will be much better.

Rep Power: 0 You are comparing apples with oranges when you compare H & Z rated tires. They use 2 different rubber compounds...therefore one does last longer than the other and have different handling characteristics.
Just remember...Bridgestone is part of FIRESTONE (nah just joking)!!
Just a suggestion...have you looked or thought about the Kumho's yet?

Rep Power: 0 I was looking at the Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s here and they have N/A for snow traction. I live in NYC and goto school in upstate NY, so snow traction is a must, but I dun wanna have to keep switching from Regular tires to snow tires. Anyone know about the Falkens? Also which Yokohamas and Paradas are you talking about? Thanx.
