Re: 7th gen gauges

I'm sure it's possible... I've seen some impressive stuff. I'm just sayin' if I had an S2K cluster in front of me, I'd want a little red button to the left of it and a 6-speed in my right.

Re: 7th gen gauges

Cost of Cluster +200$
Cost of VSS Converter +200$
Need to buy new EGT sensor +100? (if you want it to work)
+ get the EGT hooked up +50/100?
Wire it all up +time
Fabricate the cluster mount +time + $$$

Like I said, I imagine having the real car would be SO much more gratifying.

Re: 7th gen gauges

You guys must not realize how easy it is to change the gauge skins. I bought a set off e-bay. I only needed a screw driver, wire stripper, electric tape and a pearing knife to get it done

We're talking about putting in an S2K cluster. A tad bit more involved.

And oh man... I knew I always loved that car, but once I sat in it... Even if you could make a Civic as fast, and even handle as well (which you probably couldn't) it still wouldn't feel like that to sit in, or be near as pretty as the black CR I sat in.

Re: 7th gen gauges

I hope it will still be in production by the time I have the money for it. But anyway, has anyone tried changing the ring colour for the stock clusters?

Re: 7th gen gauges

Hrm, may have to call them about their gauges. Is it a straight drop in, as in no splicing, removing pins, etc?
