this guy i know has a wrecked car and he fixed it up and he put leathers from another RSX in. His RSX is a normal one (without heated seats). But the seats he has in MAYBE from a Type S, hes not too sure, the back of the seats have 2 wires running through it. Does this mean its Heated? I plan on buying his front and back for $800 CDN. LMK ASAP please i really need to know. how do i know if its Heated or not.

I thought that the rear seats were not offered as heated at all?
Can anyone out of america clarify? (I think in america heated seats weren't offered at all, but I may be wrong)

i was talking about the back of the front seats had wires running through it. And this is in Canada

Oh that makes more sense. Why not just stick your hand in, if you can, and see if you feel a heating pad thing.
They may be the wires to the side airbag (since they may be from a type s) so dont go running any power to them just yet. You would easily know if it had side airbags by the large rectangle of plastic on the side of the seats

yeah it does have side air bags. i just need to know if its heated or not. damn thse wires are probably for the side airbags them. how do i know if its heated or not

Well no one else is posting. One sure thing is unzip the zippers on the back and see if you can get the leather up enough to see if its got the heating elements.

i worked for acura in the US. until MY2005, no RSX had heated seats. That either may be something for 06 or canada only.

heated seats come in the canadian type s. heated but and back; ive got em in my car.

In Canada both Premium and Type S got heated seats (2002-2006)
