Cluster Bezel install info needed?

Has anyone ripped out the black bezel that inserts where the gauge cluster goes. I bought a replacement cluster that goes in there, so that i could put 2 gauges there. Prob is i attempted it after a couple beers, and it looked in there pretty good. Looks like two clips at the bottom where the column is. I dont want to break anything. Positive imput appreciated. Thanks!

Stick your hand in through the top and wiggle it down to the bottom then yank hard from both sides and pull it straight out towards you. The clips pop pretty easy but the first time you do it, there is tons of glue also.
