if you want to get 2.25 " pipe all the way back then go buy a universal muffler and take it to a muffler shop and they'll probably charge u about $100 , i'd recommend buying a catback though b/c i have 2.25 " and i dont really like it for some reason , o and you lose a lot of low end torque ( like we have any)

You loose low end torque with any exhaust! Weather it be crush, or mandrel bent.
Custom is nice, then you can have it tucked up if your car is lowered, most full cat-backs hang pretty low.
I recomend it! You save lots of $$ too.
But if it is gonna cost you anywhere $300, just get the Magnaflow.

Why is it exactly that you lose low end torque? Does it have something to do with reduced "back pressure"?

Exactly why you lose Low end.. less backpressure... I just removed the resonator on my car, welded on a new muffler.. sounds great..cost me $150US ($230CAD) for the muffler little bit of pipe and work.

Cheers

Good-cheap! Sounds Cool! Looks Cool! Good HP gains!
Bad-nothing really, but just get a single muffler.
