my question is this: how often do i need to change the filter on my AEM CAI? and where can i buy them? thanks

You don't change the filter. You clean it. Buy a k&N cleaner kit and use that. I had one quite some time ago so i don't remember everything. Basically, you spray the filter down with some type of solvent and rinse it out i think. Then, you spray oil up and down the filter until it is lightly saturated. Good as new. Both products usually come in a kit together.

They usually run about $10-15 I don't remember how often you are supposed to do it. I would suppose it said on the cleaner's packaging. You can pick them up and any AutoZone/Checker/Napa.
