ground control coilovers ?? must read
ok i purchased some ground control coilovers a couple months bak and when i first got them they had no problems now all they do is squeek when i drve on bumpy roads ..what must i do to prevent the nasty squeek noise coming from the coilovers?
That sucks......Coilovers Suck !! Ya'll should sell those and get a real suspension
setup, springs and adjustable struts. And the bushings are rubber if stock, then you can replace them
with the urethane bushings....but if you haven't done that, then that's not your problem. Urethane bushings will
squeek a little bit, but the stcok rubber ones shouldn't make any noise at all.

this is what i wrote yesterday:
it is the the bushings. On a normal suspension, you would have rubber bushings. With the gc's, you are supplied with urethane bushings. Urethane greatly reduces the amount of deflection that rubber bushings allow under performance driving conditions. This reduction in unwanted suspension movement lets the parts that are designed to move (e.g. shocks, springs) work more purely.
The only drawback is that they may have to be lubricated. You want to use a high quality grease thats gonna resist water and wear. Just grease it up a time or two around the bushing and you'll be good to hook.

i had the same problem. i told ground control about this and they sent me a little tube of grease. after i put that on, the noise went away. just call ground control for the grease and you should be fine.
I say stick with the regular lowering springs. I heard those coilovers don't really improve tha handling as well as the lowering springs. Unless you get the coilovers that costs 1,000 something.
