hey, welli got my tach installed today, and when i revv it a lot something werid happens, like at 5000rpm the needle shoots back to 1thou, and then goes back to like 6 something,,

the real problem is this, i d on't know wether to get headers, hi flow cat and piping with muffler, all for 500 bucks installed HP...

or rims? what do u guys think???

Maybe you installed it wrong? Maybe at what you think is 5,000rpm's is really the rpm limiter of 6,800rpm's? I don't really know though, just throwing ideas out there.

Get rims! I regret not getting rims first. It gives you looks and performance to boot. Just get a tire/rim combo that weighs less than the stock wheels. What I'm planning on getting does.

MAKE SURE THAT THE TACH LEAD WIRE ISNT NEXT TO ANOTHER WIRE THAT HAS CURRENT FLOWIN THROUGH EM. FOR EXAMPLE, YOUR POWER CABLE FOR YOUR AMP? IT COULD BE THAT
