REAR DOME LIGHT REPLACEMENT?????

I have an EX coupe w/ sun roof, and I have changed every light out on the whole car except the rear dome light, and I was just wondering if anybody has found a place where I could get a green one. I cant even find one anywhere!!! I know that the size is 578, but I just was wondering if anybody has found one yet, and where.

well from what i've seen, there arn't any that are the same shape and length of the stock one. you have to get this little pointy ended thing that buzzez when it starts to fade. mine is seriously generic, so i don't have a model # for you.

I am doing all the lights in my interior blue, and I have not found a replacement for the rear dome light bulb
either...so i just never turn it on. Also, if anyone knows....are the front 3 buttons (recycle air, A/C, and the defrost) lit up
by a bulb or by gels like the temp ***** ?? Later......

I've came across the same problem. I've searched high and low for a red bulb to match all my red interior bulbs and my stock red guages. What I did instead is take off the lense cover and tape up the inside with the same tape used to fix holes in broken tail lights. Since the lenses is not 100% clear, but a crystal complexion, you cannot see the red tape unless you turn it on.

I think I may just cut a rectangular peice of blue gel and place it inside the dome light, so at least it
will shine blue, instead of white. I think that may work !!

i found a bulb for the rear domelight. i got it at a local car shop. mine are called vision hyper white. the size is 12v3W. the length of the bulb is smaller than the stock, but still works. you just have to push the two holders in to make them smaller so you don't hear the buzzing noise. the place i got mine from had them in many other colors.
