<< With its two channels, the MSD Digital DIS-2 is designed for use on all 4-cylinder applications using 2 coils, while the DIS-4 can be used on all 6 and 8-cylinder engines with three or four coils. >>

How is the instalation of the DIS-4 coming along? Why are you installing the DIS-4? From the quote above it sounds as if we would need the DIS-2. Are the coils that they refer to the direct ignition coils that we have? Anyway, I'm kinda confused on this whole thing. What about the DIS-6?

Rep Power: 0 cause the dis 2 is only for 4 cylnders with 2 coils. we have 4 coils and MSD told me that it was the one to buy and that theywere working on a 2k1 civic with the dis 4. but now they tell me something is wrong and they only got 3 horse power from it and it is not working as expected. so now the a$$whole tell me that they are only making idividual coil packs istead of a whole ignition system. so now i got to sell it on ebay or something

Rep Power: 394 Check if this option is checked: "I want my thread subscriptions to be delivered to my private message box instead of by E-mail." (in customize)
If it is, then check if this option is on: "Allow Private Messages" (in profile)

Rep Power: 394 Do your subscriptions show up on the today page though?
I never use those. Do you know what I do. I use the search function. I set it for my username, 1 day back, and I select all forums. Then I browse all the threads that have bean recently posted to. Sometimes I set it to 3 days back and 10 days back to catch some of the threads that get replied to later on. I bet I do miss a few every now and then though. Oh well.
