these look pretty neat especially for someone like me who gets lost all the time

Yeah, I don't think I could ever live w/o my GPS after getting it. But then again I'm in CA where the roads and highway ramps aren't very intuitive.
The Tom Tom looks good, Although the reviews seemed to be mixed similar to Mcgellan and Garmin portable GPS system... Just make sure you can return it after trying it out on a couple road trips first

try the palm gps unit, its the tomtom navi with the tungsten e2 for 399! cant beat that price. question tho, when u get the palm and the navi, do u need to enable bluetooth to use it or can u just turn it on and bingo, it tells u where to go. like u dont have to pay for anything else besides the unit.
