Dual guage pod
Dual guage pod
I just recived a dual guage pod i bought from ebay. I was wondering if any one had any idea's on how to mount it i tryed 3m automotive double stick tape and it did not work. The direction's sugest drilling holes in the pod and the pillar i don't want to do that so any sugestion will help.
just got that in today, going to use both. Going to get autometer phantom volt meter, oil perssure and tempature and air\fuel.

you have to drill the stock pillar and then mount the pillar on the stocker. unless you can find ones that dont require that - hard to find but they are out there.
i'll try and figure something else out, drilling will be the last option. I'de like to get both of them wraped in cf, should i buy some from ebay and do it my self or is the a Co that does it ?

whats with all the empty holes, u shouldve put them in first if it was that much of a pain in the *** to get it on, unless u can put them on without taking it off, same with the gauge cluster ones, what gauges are you gonna be putting in, i wouldnt try the oil pressure one cause i had it hooked up which took forever and then the oil light came on so i had to unhook it

Just a question, what gauges are you gonna be putting on? U already have 2 gauge pods on your gauge cluster....and u have an oem tach already.....
I think u are going to have to drill holes into ur pillar to run the wires cleanly.

I don't have the money to get the guages right now, But i'm gonna get autometer phantom oil pressure, volt meter, air and fuel, and maby oil temp. I'm thinking ab doing both of them in carbon fiber, but i don't know how to do it.

you have to drill holes in the pillar to run the wires through it anyways. Install it and just give it to them like that when you get the CF overlay, Im sure they can integrate the pod into the pillar. It would look better that way anyways.
