Strut Bar Question
Strut Bar Question
I'm not much of a racer at all, especially with my little engine, but I'm thinking about getting a strut bar. Will I feel a difference in handling even though I dont take turns at high speeds?

yes. you don't have to be a racer to have a strut bar since it improves handling and comfort as opposed to engine performance.
you will feel a difference taking curves on the road more than 90 degrees turns. it's worth the money. also look into a rear sway bar.

dc sports makes a strut bar... no struts. Check out kyb or tokico, or koni if you can afford them. Neuspeed springs, x-brace, strut bar, and basically anything neuspeed is good.

I dont know..... honestly, the strut towers are right by the firewall....... and these are chassis braces. I feel these are useful only if your turning hard enough to affect chassis rigidty.

the front strut bar is sorta useful, the rear isn't at all. You will feel some chassis stiffening but it won't help handling that much. Check out the suspension forum for more details. Please read the fAQ and the damper FAQ.
