shift ****- take silver piece where boot meets **** and twist it and the cover will snap off. then turn the shift **** counterclockwise till it comes off and get another one.
shifter- undo your console and your bushings, go get a revo ss, replace stock one with revo ss and enjoy. that last one its not in any particular order

the first time you take it off isnt very easy. you just gotta put some muscle into it. i know this sounds dumb, but make sure your twisting it the correct direction. if it got on there, it comes off somehow.
