friend has a merc E500, wants parts
just helpin out a friend of mine up here (in seattle) from Cali. he's got a 2004 E500 and is on the market for some parts. I think he might be looking at an aftermarket intake system or some sort of module for his stock ECU (racing chip).
dunno how much help i can get from this board tho, haha. but i might as well try; anyone know any place online/in washington for mercedes aftermarket parts?

Well since I used to work at mercedes, I know a bit. If he has the money tell him to contact rentech. they do upgrades for alot of mercedes, especially the SL's. I have seen several of them and usually they have different packages you can get. they do upgrade the stock computers and some other ****. Thats about it as far as aftermarket stuff. I have never seen one with intakes and what not.
