V2 Intake

I have an 05 Civic Coupe Dx (manual) and I just bought a V2 intake
Well the intake says its for the 01-03 dx/lx model but I didnt think it would matter
I tried to put on the intake 2 times and both times the outcome was the same
For some reason after the first time I put it on While I was driving it would lose power at 3k and only go up to 5k. It would not let me go further. The check engine light came on later and I got it scanned and it said that something was wrong with the barametric pressure. No idea what that is. I put my stock box back in and it worked fine. I tried it again after that and I also reset my ecu but no luck. Called AEM but they had no idea. Anybody know what could be the problem?? For some reason it worked right after we put it on but then it started doing this.

get the sensor out of your stock airbox, and install it on your intake. Or install the sensor into the intake if its sitting in your engine bay

Well I fixed the problem
Thanks for the help anyway
What we did was we put on the filter on too far and it wasn't getting air into the intake so I just readjusted the filter and it worked fine
Thanks
