01 OEM muffler question

What size is the muffler pipe, the end or the "tip" coming out of the muffler?
I want a muffler tip to weld on since this SRI is louder than I ever wanted my car to be . So actually 2 question. What size is the tip in inches, and what size is the pipe before enlarging to the size of the tip?

anyway im asking so i can try to find something really sublte, cut off the stock tip, and get something nicer welded on.

I'm assuming you have a sedan. I just cut off the part that points down with a hack saw and am just running like that for now. Only thing is it sits too far back and a tip won't clear the bumper. The coupe catback will fit, but that's more money and work. Gonna have to custom weld a different muffler on (like rsx maybe), or something.
