intake question...

ive been reading lots about SRI and CAI for civic's and people have said they've notice a mpg gain? i thought that since our civics dont read air mass but only read air density i would expect to lose mpg rather then gain. Is it true?

A CAI will net you exactly 1.65 extra mpg

while a SRI will only get you 1.398 mpg gain

realistically because there are a million things that can effect gas mileage, no one can really say for sure if a intake actually got them an increase in mpg. I mean there are just WAAAAYY to many variables to say that this one thing got me a negligable gain in mpg.

our civics get 40 frickin mpg anyway. mine does anyway. so it wouldn't really matter would it. if you gain 2 or lose 2 it doesn't make a diff when you mpg is that high.
