should I get this tachometer?
should I get this tachometer?
I drive a dx, and obviously there is no tach. I found this tach on jcwhitney.com. I would order the 3 1/2 in. size, in black with NO SHIFT LIGHT. 3 inches is pretty small....
Before anybody says anything, please do not respond with "why don't you get the gauge cluster from another civic ex...lx....whatever." I DON'T WANT TO DO THAT.
I think it wouldn't be ricey right? I want to mount it somewhere visible. My question to you guys is simply....do you think it would look ok? I have a black interior. Thanks ahead of time

go for it. it serves a big purpose and that is watching your rpms.
i say yes to that.
where to mount? ive never seen an dx cluster, i always thought there was a major gap thats just faced black? maybe you can place it right by the mph gauge. if no, how about the corner on the end of the dashboard by the pillar?

Summitracing.com has a better one for less and a built in shift light. Search for summit tachometer at summitracing.com. It's only $39.
Edit- I read the description and it says you need a tach driver (whatever that is) for dis ignitions. Thats $80 all by itself.
