S2000 Seat install help needed
Ok, so I have a set of S2000 seats, and was told they would bolt right in because they were honda, so I was like ok, sounds easy enough. NOT the case. I even went throught the trouble of unbolting my driver seat and unbolting the seat belt receptacle so I wouldn't have to deal with that SRS light stuff, anyway I'm rambling on... the bolt holes don't even come close, so what do I do? I really want the seats in the car. Any help would greatly appreciated. I already tried searching, but I couldn't find anything.
it depends on if the S2K brakets line up with the mounting position. i think there's a member here that has S2K seats; maybe you could search and ask him. i would just sell them S2K seats and buy yourself some RSX seats. people say only 3 of the RSX holes line up with modification, but i was able to make all 4 fit.
with my old racing seats I just cut the brackets off my original seats and welded them on my new seats. Took a lot of measuring but it worked out fine. You could just get some good self taping screws and make new holes. It might not be the safest way but it would work.

I got the passenger side in with the help of some longer metric screws and some self tapping screws ... Also swapped the seat belt receptacle (1 bolt), so no SRS light...It does sit low, but its sturdy, and hey that just means more room up front. I plan to do the driver seat tomorrow maybe, I ran out of daylight.
don't rig seats, when you get into a wreck, those self tapping screws will pop right off and make you fly into something else. do it right, and chop off the s2k brackets and get new ones welded on there. it'll cost you more, but it's worth it

HEY! I just got finished "rigging" my seats! dragoon, you have a perfectly sane point of view, and I promise I'll look into it... I was just so pumped to get them in there... And they're going to take a minute to get used to since they're much lower than the stock seats. But anyway, cool! I'm going to put a picture in my members ride so you can see if you want to.
