ok, so i was driving about 2 days ago and all of a sudden my car is making this clicking niose, but its loud. it doesnt make any niose at idle, only when driving. i think its my clutch but im not sure. it make a niose in every gear, i mean i do need a new clutch cause its slipping but this dam niose sounds like i left a tool in my engine bay and its just rattling away. but there is nothing. cant find out where its coming from. seems like the driver side but idk. any thought???

That happened to me once. It made this loud slapping sound coming from the wheel well. Aparently part of the belt of my tire ripped off and it was hitting the side of the car every time my wheel made a revolution. Yes the tire was faulty and I got a new one free of charge.

I think that my incident is isolated. But do you have anymore details? Where does the sound feel like it is coming from?

well i mean i do not feel it. its def coming from the drivier side of the car. dam i so hard to describe. i can be at idle not moving, say parked. and go under the hood and i rev a lil and i hear the niose. mmmmmm it does it around 3-4k rpms. at high rpms it doesnt do it.

^^ yeah bro. i want a evo too. my boy has one and i love that dam thing. 28lbs of boost and beats the bag out of everything we raced so far. its so sick. i want a white one. i wihs it would burn on the GSP.

so no matter what gear i am in wheni let off the gas to slow down this niose happenes. doesnt do it when i am accerlating only when i slow down. idk if this will help.

found out what was making that rattling niose. the bolt that goes into the altenater to keep in it place is coming out. stupid bolt. now i have to figure out a way to get to it cause its a tight spot to get at. i have tried 2 times and i got it in a lil the second try but it is coming out.

yeah it is stripped. so i guess now i have to go to a shop and have the tap it so the bolt can go through or i have to get a new altenater.
