DIY or BODY SHOP?
guys,
my front bumpers & right fender is broken, when i skid in a snow last month, the estimate is around $2k, my other option is to buy the bumper & fender from ebay (painted) & install it myslef, here is the ebay link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33640
1. is it hard to install? or just bring it to a body shop
2. any experience on ebay civic parts?
3. any better idea?
any tips will be very helpful, thank you

Actually, i had the same delimma like a little bit ago. My right fender and bumper got scratched and a huge dent from someone backing up into me. I got hooked up at a body shop, but good ones usually charge an arm and a leg.
The only concern about the Ebay stuff the quality of the paint. Sometimes they don't match perfectly. But since you have a black civic, it wouldnt be as hard to match as silver. The DIY is really easy... The only really tough part is reaching the clips in inside of the doors. You can definately install this yourself if you buy it from Ebay...

Yea there should be bumper removal in the DIY section. As for the fender... Once you have the bumper removed, just follow all around the fender removing the bolts/screw/clips you can find. Nothing's really hidden, but you must open the door to reach 2 black clips. If you need more help just ask or PM me to get my attention.
