Your thoughts?

Hey I just got done pay off my car and now the fun begins. I have a Black civic bone stock. Ok so this is my plan: get a carbon fiber hood, trunk lid, and door sills, t2001 front bumber and some sort of sides and rear. But I was thinking of painting my car to white because up here in the Northeast it is almost impossible to keep a black car without scratches from the plows. If I painted it white then the scratches will be less noticable. With the white paint I would do everything but the T2001 bumper and go with a more stock look, maybe a lip for the front.
So my question is one:what color should I keep? two:does this sound good or do you have a suggestions for the rear and sides to make it better?

yep. get a nice conservative lip kit and put that money into engine and suspension. Suspension mods make the car fun to drive, and engine mods help that too. Aesthetic upgrades, while they look nice, don't do anything for you while you're driving the car.

it all depends on your budget and what your looking for in a car. all show no go? half and half? to me it sounds like your more leaning towards making your car look nicer. if you got the money, do a paint swap before adding a kit and such, or do it all together. performance wise, just save and shell out 2-5k for a swap and/or turbo.
