01 LX Kamakazi headers

I want to get the Kamakazi headers for my 01 LX. I have heard that people have been able to feel there performance go down. Then i heard that you need to buy some kind of o2 thing. If i get these headers and put them on, is my performance goin to be better or worse. Do I need any other parts??

go with the HP racing one that has the high flow cat too because it has a built in O2 simulator box specifically designed for us LX/DX guys. if you dont alredy have an exhaust you'll need one or a EX midpipe

I have the Kamikaze header I think performance improved. Of course with no cat my exhaust is a lot louder. It actually sounds a bit ricey. After 1 week of having it on I got a fix it ticket for having a loud exhaust, tint and intake. The pig didn't notice my header with no cat.

I've put one on my 01 lx. I think I gained a little up top, but nothing major. As for mil eliminator (O2 cheater) it's easy to wire, $15, and it works. As long as you don't have to worry about emissions testing, you can bolt up the header, wire the cheater and forget about the cat!

That's what it look like after about 6 months.

Loudness will def depend on your exhaust. Mine is not loud by any means and I've got a full Thermal R&D.
