To answer one of your questions, cracked bumpers can be repaired but it might be cheaper to replace the bumper depending on how bad the crack is.

picked one up from certifit for $30. it's abs plastic so if you have a decent accident it will crack rather than bend, but it's $30. fit fine. it's the same kind you would buy off ebay, just no shipping if there's a certifit dealer near you.
if you want a non aftermarket, go to car-part.com and search your area.

^^^ Yea i think so also. No way would they charge you that much for just a bumper... 900 probably includes the bumper, paint, and maybe the install.

doubledeuce2k2,
that certifit bumper is unpainted right?
I have seen one on ebay for around $200 shipped & painted, i think ill go w/ that, i called maaco & they charge $150 for front bumpers & around $100 for right fenders on the paint job
honda orig front bumpers unpainted = $230
still ebay is the best choice
thanx guys

I was looking at buying a replacement as well, as mine was hacked up for the turbo kit. There is a place called keystone-auto (http://www.keystone-auto.com) that sells OEM replacement bumpers cheap - $103. They have locations throughout the US, and have them in stock (at least in Orlando). Of course they are unpainted, but they said they are guarenteed to fit. I've heard things about those painted ones on Ebay, such as fitment issues, or paint runs, etc....
I was considering one of them too - but after searching for a replacement bumper cover (which is non-existant!), I'll probably go with keystone...
