Actually it does fit smart guy - AEM just sells it by what model civic you have!

you got it all wrong, if an intake is for the EX model, it will not fit any non-ex model directly.

the transmission doesnt matter when looking at the SRI, but the AEM sri for EX is different compared to the Lx/Dx/other.
