h22 swap ?
I was told Place Racing is working on a kit to swap h22 into 2001 civic. Does anyone have any info on a release date or how soon it will be available to the public?
But would be damn cool!

I'm also getting tired of looking at threads with the words engine swap. First of all.. there's no point of swapping an h22a engine.. u should have brought an older model car if you wanted to swap engines. WHy in the world would u wanna swap engines this early with a new model car!!? u basically wasted your money by buying it... you could have just bought a civic hatchback and then do all your mods. Just my 2 centz.

Rep Power: 0 It's not my car. I read all the CRAP on the K20 swap and it's all CRAP! H22 is a lot more feasible than a K20. A guy blew his weak a$$ new civic motor mis-shifting. Why swap stock when you can go a lot bigger? I own a CRX, wait a minute... A CRX, with a single cam, no squeeze, no blow dryer! Still spanking the hell out of 2k1 civics. Why pay for a new car you can't do crap to for a long time when you can buy an older model and spend half the money, be a hell of alot faster, and look a hell of a lot better when you're done? What can you do to a new civic or even an RSX-S? It's going to take a long time for there to be anywhere near the support for your cars than an H22 swap and build-up. Thanks for the info and when I find out, I'll let you guys know about the swap.[IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG]

go ahead drop ur h22a my civic will still be worth more than ur crx any day and so wat u go faster lolz like u can pick up any girls with that crx hahahahahaha

Rep Power: 0 Alrite people......this is never ending.....I gotta settle some issues here....First off yer SOHC NON-Vtec CRX...would get spanked by my 2k1 okay....second of all about the K20 swap it could theoretically work...but would need some mods...the only reason I say it might work is because they share the same platform.... but you would never be able to put the type-s head on....so what would you do..???? And yer there has been a h22 put into a 2k1....I can't remember the url....but I've seen it....dont get me wrong here...its not my car....I ain't one of those guys who are like...."I got a top secret project going on"....if its top secret....dont mention **** to anyone.....LOL I guess I'm just venting cause I'm sick and I gotta go to my Novell Networks class.....

Shoot, prolly beat it going in reverse even. LoL!! Maybe a CRX with a NSX motor in the back (www.mahdavimotorsports.com) or some ****, but a CRX with some bolt ons?? No way.
As for swapping an H22. That's cool and all, but no sense arguing until someone has actually done it!!!!! When they do, that will settle it all. I say do it, then talk about it. When everyone screams BS, show them a pic and they STFU!! Until then, I'm with the other guys, quit beating a dead horse.
