h22 swap ?
 

I was told Place Racing is working on a kit to swap h22 into 2001 civic. Does anyone have any info on a release date or how soon it will be available to the public?

H22 would be a very tight fit.:eek: But would be damn cool!:tup:

I said B18B/C....not K20C...the B series spins in the right direction, and they were made in the 2001 Integra's...so why is it not an option????

I'm also getting tired of looking at threads with the words engine swap. First of all.. there's no point of swapping an h22a engine.. u should have brought an older model car if you wanted to swap engines. WHy in the world would u wanna swap engines this early with a new model car!!? u basically wasted your money by buying it... you could have just bought a civic hatchback and then do all your mods. Just my 2 centz.

It's not my car. I read all the CRAP on the K20 swap and it's all CRAP! H22 is a lot more feasible than a K20. A guy blew his weak a$$ new civic motor mis-shifting. Why swap stock when you can go a lot bigger? I own a CRX, wait a minute... A CRX, with a single cam, no squeeze, no blow dryer! Still spanking the hell out of 2k1 civics. Why pay for a new car you can't do crap to for a long time when you can buy an older model and spend half the money, be a hell of alot faster, and look a hell of a lot better when you're done? What can you do to a new civic or even an RSX-S? It's going to take a long time for there to be anywhere near the support for your cars than an H22 swap and build-up. prolly 2k1 lude SH engine that will cost about 10,000 to install so basically its a lude with a civic shell hahaha

h22 is friggin huge.. have u seen how long a prelude's engine compartment is? its like twice as large as ours.. the rsx engine MIGHT be a possibility, but the H22 i just dont see it.

Alrite people......this is never ending.....I gotta settle some issues here....First off yer SOHC NON-Vtec CRX...would get spanked by my 2k1 okay....second of all about the K20 swap it could theoretically work...but would need some mods...the only reason I say it might work is because they share the same platform.... but you would never be able to put the type-s head on....so what would you do..???? And yer there has been a h22 put into a 2k1....I can't remember the url....but I've seen it....dont get me wrong here...its not my car....I ain't one of those guys who are like...."I got a top secret project going on"....if its top secret....dont mention Sh!t to anyone.....LOL I guess I'm just venting cause I'm sick and I gotta go to my Novell Networks class.....:tdown:

As for swapping an H22. That's cool and all, but no sense arguing until someone has actually done it!!!!! When they do, that will settle it all. I say do it, then talk about it. well crx ppls have had years to mess with their cars...once i stop driving to college everyday then i'll be workin wit mine and then ur crx will have no chance either !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
