when you look at any of spoon products it has japanise writing all over the box or what ever. but did u know it is really made in Russia. It is stamped on the products, (made in Russia)

Rep Power: 394 Odd. I never bought Spoon before, so I wouldn't know. Spoon products are good looking and functional though. Maybe they're manufacturer in Russia because it's cheaper to make them there and the quality is still good?

I second that. Even here in the U.S there are lot's of things here that are manufucture outside. But the parts are still made in U.S.A Because I think it would be lot cheaper to pay for the labor in other country specially third world country. Where here they pay for an hour. In other country they pay for labor on fixed basis.
