installing revo ss

quick question on installing the revo... for the primary (??) cable there is a small plate around the cable (pic below). how do i remove the plate to get the cable out?

pull up on the plate, it should slide right off i believe. then u just slip it on after.

use a flat head screwdriver and pry it out.. slowly so u dont crack the stock assembly.

it should just slide right up out.

it gets a bit weaker after u pry it out though.. so after u reinstall it in the revo ss, might want to tape it down with hard tape or use different clips.

Yeah, use a flathead. Mine was on tight as hell, so it took a little more muscle, but dont rape it and crack the stock piece. Check out Grey's C-clips, I used them and they are good to go.

I wouldnt recommend using the stock clip since Honda uses a one-use clip and its loose like somethings that really loose.
