Thinking about Brembo Slotted w/ Hawk HPS? $233 shipped
I know most autocross people prefer brembo blanks or the oem rotors.
but what are your opinions on Brembo slotted with Hawk HPS pads? $233 shipped from tirerack.
Anyone have the below setup? noisy? and what brake fluid do you guys recommend when i install?

If they are both slotted and cross drilled, then they are brembo blanks and messed with by a third party company, but if they are either just slotted or cross drilled, and not both then they are probably actually slotted or crossdrilled by brembo.

WOah! cryogenically treated rotors!!! $111.00 each!

Long Lasting, Warp Resistant Brake Rotors
Power Slot has teamed up with Frozen Rotors to develop Power Slot Cryo cryogenically treated rotors. Although not apparent to the naked eye, rotors treated cryogenically show significant improvements. Deep cryogenic processing creates dramatic increases in abrasive wear resistance and durability while also reducing residual stresses for an extra level of protection against warping
Serious drivers -- those who tend to cross the finish line first -- take their edge where they can find it. And a growing number of them have embraced the edge that they've found in cryogenically treated brake rotors. Here's why:
* Rotors resist cracking, warping and fading.
* Rotors last 2-3 times longer. Fewer pads and rotors are needed.
* Rotors stop consistently and predictably, lap after lap.
Proven Performance on the Track
At the SCCA Pro-Trans Am Series at Road America, Elkhart Lake, WI, Frozen Rotors® outperformed the competition.
The untreated rotor on the left in this picture was thrown out after one weekend of practice, qualifying, and racing.
The Frozen Rotors® on the right in this picture went on to run a total of three race weekends of practice, qualifying, and racing.
Left Rotor: Untreated rotor after only one race weekend.
Right Rotor: Frozen Rotors® after one race weekend.

WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!
Brembo makes their own slotted rotors, they are only slotted and the slots are cast in. They're about $160. The drilled and slotted rotors are 3rd party made blanks.
The only thing slots will do is look pretty, and if you're looking for pads, Hawks or Axxis pads are fine. Use any DOT3 or 4 fluid you want, I don't know the volume it takes, ATE superblue cans are big and it takes less than one of those.
