Both might sound kinda noob, but here goes...


First Question
I've heard that the Type B rear has to be modified to fit the coupe? Is the true, and if so....what has to be done to it? I heard something about the exhaust won't fit so you need to cut more space or something. Pics would be helpful.

Second Question
Is it necessary to put hood pins on a CF hoo?. I've heard it will fly up in a high wind or at hight speeds. If I do decide to get some, how do you put them on, and what do they attach to under the hood? Pics would be helpful.

for the type b rear, some of it needs to be cut to accomodate the exhaust...there's some pics floating around in member's rides

hoodpins are for safety reasons incase hood latch doesn't hold it down. i know of someone's cousin that had his cf hood come off on the freeway..not necessary i suppose. people here have run theres without hoodpins with no probs

I'm pretty new to the site so I can't answer the first question I know there's a DIY for installing hood pins in the DIY section. I don't think there necessary but are recommended for high speeds i've heard of some flying off before.
