"Real" filter comparison
"Real" filter comparison
Just thought everyone would like to see a "real" comparison on oil filters that are in every parts store. Hope this is helpful.

I frequent another forum (bobistheoilguy) where they did a more in-depth analysis and also included several versions of honda filters. Both used and unused. if i find the link, i will post it later.

I change my own oil, and I use the purolator pureone filter and mobil1 0w-20. Oil changes only cost me $10 plus tax, and a half hour of my time. I love price matching at wal mart
why do you use 0w-20, thats way to thin for your car, synthetic is thinner than conventional oil anyway. I use 10w-30 mobile1 by choice. I know someone that used that 0w-20 on there car for 20,000 miles and the car had a main bearinng failure after only 66,000 miles, it ruined the crank so he bought a new motor, was a 01 civic. I would drain out the thin stuff and get a thicker viscosity if I were you, just a recomendation though.
