ok i have an 03 ex sedan.....and i wanna do a suicide door conversion in the rear......what kit would u guys suggest i use......also i wanna shave off the handle from where it is......and put it at the front of the door (so the handles will be right next 2 each other) should i take my car 2 a shop 2 do this or what? and also what kit should i use?

nope.....i want it like an old lincoln.....plus im a big guy and i dont wanna have 2 slide in and out of my car every time

i bet it'd look real nice. but i havent heard of any universal kit or any kit for this kind of door kit. i would find a shop who can custom make one which would cost A LOT i bet. i like the idea though with the door handles on opposite sides

last custom shop in TX that I heard from for a friend quoted $3000 and said 3 days for the work

damn 3 grand.......does that include painting the doors after the shaving and relocating?

nope... this is from an S-10 in Mini-truckin, but it gives you an idea of how much work is involved. it's not just move the handle over here and put in a shaved one and repaint and that's it... Suicide doors how-to link

I'd love to have suicide doors I think they would be awesome on a coupe.

do you want to lambo the rear? if you're a big guy, and you want to open both doors from just about one location, it would seem better to suicide the rear doors. If you lambo the rear, then the doors still come forward, and they would block the front doors from opening.

lol its cool.....no no lambo doors at all.....lambo doors belong on a lambo.......but suicide rear doors belong on my civic =)
