i have a set of konis and the paint is flaking quite a bit on them. i want to get them powdercoated so it doesnt look as bad. can i do this or will it not work? any suggestions on what to do?

Rep Power: 400 Powdercoating is quite hot.... if you think about it.. you need to fuse the coating together and bond it to the metal... not to mention that to spray the powder and make it stick, you need to electrically charge (many thousand volts) whatever you're spraying it on. 2 process your shocks won't like. Just paint em, but cover the working parts real well.
