M3 Mirrors...
I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot but i wasn't too sure what this would fit under. Anyways, I want to get M3 mirrors for my 01 coupe. I have been searching ebay lately and I see many different kinds. I see kinds like this... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...945480244&rd=1
and kinds like this...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...945479599&rd=1
Sorry about the links and not pics i have no clue how to post pics. But in the second link the "base" (part that attaches to the car) is alot bigger than the first. Maybe one of you out there has M3 mirrors and can help me with my problem of which to get. Thanks alot everyone.

Well the second link is for 4-doors only. The first link is listed as 2 or 3 doors....I dunno if hatchback mirrors fit on the coupes so I'd be wary if I were you. Be careful buying off Ebay, lots of scammers out there.
Thanks for the site. I see the ones you are showing and the "base" is small, but on the white ones above, the "base" is bigger. I don't want to get the black pair and not have them fit right. Hopefully I am making sense about this. What do I do?
when you buy them you will get two pieces, The base is what will actually fit on your car and the mirrors fit into the base. I am pretty sure that the mirrors themselves are universal and the base is car/model specific. When I bought mine the mirrors came packaged in a box and the base was just added in there.
I have a 2001 coupe and I just bought some off of ebay and am having a tough time attaching the m3 mirrors to the mirror space on my car. The screws I was given dont fit and I dont know how to connect the m3 mirrors to my car. Anyone have a clue?
I appreciate the reply, but my m3 mirrors dont even have any bolts on them like these replacement mirrors in the example you provided. Thats whats making this such a pain. I need to know how I can bolt or screw them into my car since they dont have the screws/ bolts already in them. On the factory mirrors there are bolts that connect the mirror. On the m3 mirrors there are just plastic holes. I am very confused. Thanks again.

Prolly hit up home depot or lowe's for some studs and try to use pliars (vise-grips) to thread them into the plastic holes. Then get some bolts that will screw onto the studs.
About the plastic "holes". What they look like are about an inch long plastic cylinder coming off the base of the m3 mirror fixture. They line up perfectly with the holes for the stock mirrors. If I put a stud into them will it break that piece off? I was thinking I could try and stick a stud in the cyclinder piece and find a matching bolt to attach it to the car. Similar to the way the stock mirrors are connected. Just dont quite know how to keep the stud in the plastic cylinder piece of the mirrors base.
I have 20 minutes until Home Depot opens. Do you think if I take in the light fixture they would be able to match up all those parts you mentioned? Thanks a ton. I am going to go give it hell and hopefully everything works out. If not I have some m3 mirrors for sale.

suthrninca - I have the same mirrors as you and didn't get wiring info with them. I figured out the L.E.D. part but the power mirror wires are killing me. RED, WHITE, BLACK. Do you know what they are? I have my civics wiring I just can't get the combination right so mirrors work right. Maybe yours came with the manuals.
