Low tie does NOTHING terms of feel.
Bling factor, just get cheap ones if you already have upgraded rear sway bar.

darklegacy540 is on a distinguished road
Now I'm confused... I thought the lower control arms, the rear tie bar, and the sway bars were all different components?
I have aftermarket sway bars on my car so I KNOW what those are. But Blahman2 is talking about control arms?? And I thought the tie bars were for people with sway bars..

DC bars are pure garbage.
None of them do anything unless you've got a sway bar significantly larger than the factory one.

Tie bars = chassis reinforcement
sway bars = antiroll

He is talking about a rear under TIE bar. A strut bar goes between the struts. All strut bars are tie bars, but not all tie bars are strut bars. He is talking about the bar that goes between the control arm bolts. IT will do nothing for your car unless you have a large sway bar, and even then it is doubtful that you will break this chassis, but again no one has pushed it yet. DC bars do ****.

I have a DC tie bar, and if installed correctly it should help. You have to make sure that its as short as possible before bolting it down since one end pivots. However, had I not gotten it for 40 bucks I would of went with a different bar.

I just did in the post before. Strut bars go between the strut housings as is the case with the front strut bar on our car. Tie bars just tie any two points of chassis together. All strut bars are tie bars but not all tie bars are strut bars. There does not exist a REAR LOWER strut bar. It is simply a tie bar. Control arms on the other hand attach to the wheel and go up and down with the wheel.

I have neuspeed front strut bar, lower x-brace, and rear tie-bar with bigger anti-roll bar. I like them alot. They look good and stiffen up chassis considerably.

Yes, but that doesn't MAKE them rear lower strut bars, that just makes them rear lower tie bars placed in the wrong section of an online store. Either that or some similarly misinformed person lumped them in with the strut bars, the same way you did. Meh, they honestly don't do too much. Made no difference when I was using my 19mm sway, haven't taken it off to test with my 22mm sway. I keep it around cause when you go higher than 19mm with a sway you're stressing the subframe so MAYBE, just maybe, it's keeping my subframe from ripping apart when taking a corner at 40km/h, lol.
