automatic race tranny

i know its pretty doubtful but im gonna take a shot at it.

does anyone or will anyone make an race transmissions for the automatic ppl? i know some ppl are auto-boosted and would love to have a race tranny instead of wearing out their oem ones.

if their are any other related parts with the auto tranny that can be done, let me know that too.

There's a place that I can't remember what its called. As soon as I remember I will post the link. But you ship them your tranny and the build it based on the performance levels you're looking for.

There was another company called JMO. I know they make a higher stall torque converter, but not sure about anything else that would be considered fit for racing.

i remember reading about JMO and level ten in a thread before awhile back and someone was saying that level ten was better, but i'm not sure why or anything. i think it said that for the bullet proof kit it was somewhere in the $500-$1000 range and was supposed to shave a second of times. also they have a brand new transmission already built for $4000. on their site it doesn't state any of this because i think it says to call for prices. i'm thinkin of doing this myself.. well atleast the bullet proof rebuild kit considering that a member on this site did a tranny swap for around $800. i love standard and it's fun but since i had to get an auto i have it but if i can have a auto that has times equal to or even greater than a standard ..well hell that's cool too.

For bracket racing the auto is the way to go. Your runs will be so consistent.

also if you do make sure you know a good transmission shop that can replace stock insides with the new upgraded stuff from level ten which could be pricey but have you ever seen all the stuff in a auto tranny?

hmm i'm not sure do a search and found out who did it.. you need a lot of stuff but you could probably find them in a wrecked 5spd 7thgen somewhere it's just the work. i think the guy who did said that he doesn't have to push in the clutch to start it though and somethin seems wrong to me if it can do that. you also need ecu as well as other stuff.
