I have a 2005 VP and LX. I like the gauges on the LX much better (obvious - the VP only has engine temp, fuel, and speedo).

Is it possible to switch gauge clusters from an LX or EX into a VP?

If you mean switching the old style with new style (white numbers) there is a way you just have to rewire the plugs.

No switching between the low end 2005 and a upper end 2005.

I'm more interested in the layout of the LX cluster as well as having a Tach which would be nice for slip-shifting.

Someone said the Si gauge faces will fit the new style? Maybe try a cheap one on ebay and see.

As far as the swap, yes it can be done, and yes it requires rewiring the pins. A member said he did it in 15-20 mins.

It's Value Package. Basically a DX.

You can't get a DX Coupe anymore (check Honda's website)

Okay - dumbish question. Will an Automatic Gauge cluster work in a manual (I assume it will).

if you are referring to the 02 and up si, the gauges overlap somewhat, so the spacing would be tighter than the lx cluster shown. on swapped si's, the speedo and tach needles almost collide they are so close.
