Lightbulb RUST on headers

i havent driven my civic in a while. Finally last week i pulled it out the driveway to wash it and i popped the hood. My ceramic DC sports headers had a little rust on them. Whats something i could use to keep them from from rusting during the winter time?? I dont drive it much, so i need something.... THANKS!!!!!!

Better coating. You could cover them in petroleum jelly too but that'd be pretty messy.

get them ceramic coated. Thats probably the best way. Both thermal and rust barrier.

www.jet-hot.com for maybe $150?

I'm getting my generic header done in the spring. Best coating hands down and will even give you better performance.

Go with Jet Hot. They've been doing that for years. As a matter of fact, I beleive they are the originator of it. Your header will never rust again.

Ya well jet hot is better because it keeps heat in the pipes better and out of the engine bay.

You wont get much of any performance out of your header from that company, but it may look nice. A 755 HP car gained like 7 HP from it. That would not even be noticeable to them. On our car. Lets just do some math. If you had 117 HP, you would be up to 118.08. Seems like a lot of money for so little? Just my opinion though
