Installation help
Today me and my buddy were installing my Downpipe and high flow cat and the thing is leaking real bad at the Header--downpipe connection point. I cant figure it out for the life of me and we have repositioned it and tightened it a million times. We called it a night but 2morrow we are working on it again but I need my car!!!! Any one got any ideas?
BTW: I have the random tech downpipe and cat. and a DC Sport 4-1 header.

have u tried taking it completely apart and reinstalling it? you might notice something you did wrong. and u should try today and if u cant do it then take it to the muffler shop, theyll prolly over-charge u massively just because of how small a job it is.

check out the gasket, make sure its solid and doesnt have any cracks or anything. make sure its not just flat but can actually be compressed(if that makes sense) between the header and downpipe. it does sound like something is wrong with the gasket though or ur not tightening something the right way. u did say that the springs on the bolts were compressing so thats pretty wierd then.

did you take the metal part off the bottom of the stock header and put it where the header connects to the downpipe? Its like a little round thing at the base of the stock header. Costs 10 bucks for one if you want a new one.
