Review: Corbeau A4 seats!
I finally got em installed and man they are nice! Thanks again Dezod for the hookup.
I just thought I'd post a little review for those considering these or other racing seats.
PROS:
--much better support than stock (thigh, shoulder, kidney)
--very clean, sporty look
--reclinable and slidable
--keeps seatbelt and srs system, direct bolton
--feels like a new car and turns are better (no sliding)
--for the price, they are constructed well
CONS:
--sits lower than stock and not as upright. This isn't a big deal for me, although the mirrors are harder to see.
--blocks over-the-shoulder view considerably
--VERY tight fit with the seatbelts bolted on. I had to mesh em in just about, but they are on good.
--hard to get in/out of seats
--Can feel bumps alot more
Well the negatives don't bother me at all. These seats give the car a whole new feel and I actually think the car got faster from the way they ride and hold you in place
Very impressed. And they even match the grey interior of my sedan quite well. I also got some matching black seatbelt pads for the rear seats. And yes, the door panel fabric has been changed as well. Anyway, onto the pics.

Yes I installed myself. It was harder than I thought, and I ended up hurting my finger bad. Basically unbolt old seat, install sliders on new seat, and bolt the new seat on. It just was a really tight fit with the center console.
Paid around $763 shipped for everything. I know it's alot, but they feel similar to rsx seats and much better than SI seats. Plus I really like the look of these.
I can still see from the mirrors, but it's just that I broke my auto mirror switch and can't adjust them well by just pushing on the glass. But yeah the view when turning around is blocked alot, just like in the rsx if you've been in one.

Yes on the price. Dezod had a package deal seats, sliders, and shipping for $763. It's still going on in the group buy center, and other models are there as well.
The stock seatbelt is the buckle and a thin rod with explosive that has a spot to directly bolt to the sliders of the new seat (so they move when you move the seat now). But yes, there is a specific spot for them. Not all chairs have this, being they were meant for race harness.
If you have side bags, the light will come on with these (I don't). The only other seats you could swap are the SI with side bags or rsx. There is a separate plug for the side air bags coming from the seat. Otherwise, I just detatched the other stock wires for the seatbelt and let em hang under the seat. There was only two plugs from what I could see.

good review, but just wondering what kind of a build you have, because most people say the comfort of the seat depends on the person sitting in them, by the list of your pros and cons those would outweight the same for me, but im like 511 and 140 and not sure if i would be like unable to get out of them or just right or what have you .

I'm around 150lbs and 5'8 they are comfrotable, but a little different at first. Stock feels like a couch compared to these.

I don't think so. It's a tight fit, and most likely they will not be comfortable. I believe they do offer a wider version of these seats.
