I have an 02 civic with intergraded arm rest and now I have rsx seats. Its not the same without any arm rest.
an yea its a pain to install the seats a little, you have to modify the sliders to get 4 out of 4 screws in.

As far as clearing the center console, I have an 02 but i have seat racing seats in 03's with the center console and it was not a problem, and i wouldnt think the RSX are wider than racing seats.... seats to be about the same width honestly, you just now have side bolsters and ****.

sitting in my back seat today... um... i wont say who i was with and whyi was back there but.. the inner back bolt seems to make the seat lean "in" so im thinking about putting a 3/8" spacer in there to raise it up. i always felt like i was leaning in a lil bit.. now i know why.

Haha.. the plastic center piece makes it hard to get down in the back seat. Cant seem to find a comfortable position. Its the only thing I dislike about the rsx seats, but I love the fact that the rears only seat 2 people. One less person to drive around.

i just installed my rsx seats today and i did notice, that its slightly lower then the stock seats. The difference is not huge but enough to make you aware you have to look a little higher with your eyes then before.

I think getting rsx seats is probably the best mod any 7thgen'er can do. Especially if you drive a lot, its definately worth the investment. Right when i installed them and took a drive around, it made a world of diffence. The kidney and butt support is noticable. I drive a lot in a day and on average about 4hrs a day, so my lower back starts to hurt after awhile, especially with the cloth seats. I drive on lots of twistie roads on the way to school, when i had the cloths seats, my butt use to slide across my seat every hard turn i made. The turns i make are at a 35-45 degree angle for a quarter mile going around 60-80mph. The rsx seats just hug my body, i love it. I love how the most cushiony part of the seat is around my kidneys area and lower back, because that the area that i get back pain the quickiest, but it might also depend on your height. I'm 5'8'' 180lbs and the height and width of the seat is perfect for me.
