$180 later...
So I was washing my car and bumpin the stereo while i vacuumed it out...and then all of a sudden the freakin battery dies. So i had to get a jump and go down to sears and spend 180! on a freaking battery. I got an optima yellow top - you people told me that was what to get - so i did. I just wanna know if thats a good price or not??
I mean 180 for a battery!!! yikes!
or maybe im a cheapskate

You might have over paid a little but you got an awesome battery.
BTW... was your battery completely dead? Because if you jump your car and run it for a while the battery charges itself back up.

^^^yea, did you make sure you even needed a new battery because if you had it jumped and then went down to sears, that means your battery was still good.

if you jump it and drive it to charge up the battery, and it happens again, then you know the battery is dead, if it cannot hold the charge. damn, i didn't know those optimas were so expensive.

Optima's really make a difference though. #1 rule of having a system is always keep your car on while ur bumpin or the car will die. Sure he paid about $50 more then he should have, but what would you rather do, save $50 and not drive a car for a week, or spend an extra $50 and be able to drive it an hour later. Advanced Auto sells it for like $150 I think, and I'd rather spend that then not be able to drive for a week while I wait for a battery to be shipped from TNA sports for $110.
