So I was washing my car and bumpin the stereo while i vacuumed it out...and then all of a sudden the freakin battery dies. So i had to get a jump and go down to sears and spend 180! on a freaking battery. I got an optima yellow top - you people told me that was what to get - so i did. I just wanna know if thats a good price or not??
I mean 180 for a battery!!! yikes!

Rep Power: 347 You might have over paid a little but you got an awesome battery.
BTW... was your battery completely dead? Because if you jump your car and run it for a while the battery charges itself back up.

Rep Power: 429 ^^^yea, did you make sure you even needed a new battery because if you had it jumped and then went down to sears, that means your battery was still good.

Rep Power: 0 if you jump it and drive it to charge up the battery, and it happens again, then you know the battery is dead, if it cannot hold the charge. damn, i didn't know those optimas were so expensive.

Rep Power: 293 Optima's really make a difference though. #1 rule of having a system is always keep your car on while ur bumpin or the car will die. Sure he paid about $50 more then he should have, but what would you rather do, save $50 and not drive a car for a week, or spend an extra $50 and be able to drive it an hour later. Advanced Auto sells it for like $150 I think, and I'd rather spend that then not be able to drive for a week while I wait for a battery to be shipped from TNA sports for $110.
